This is
our first album (as Piping Hot) and was produced and
engineered by Bruce Sharp. It is a transitional album in
that it features players who were just about to leave
the band (Murray Blair - pipes, Dean Hall - Drums and
Brian Niven - Bass) and the new players (Andy Ogilvy -
pipes, Dominic McAlinden - congas, bohdran). The album
has a folk feel and features some great tunes and some
very poignant songs. It has stood the test of time very
well and still manages to get radio airplay.

This album
is called "A Night On Earth" produced by Greg Arnold and
recorded over Eight days at Atlantis Studios in
Melbourne. The two big differences from the first album
are the fantastic creative input from Greg Arnold and
the fact that the writing credits were far more evenly
spread around the band. In fact even though we all
didn't write every song or tune, every person in the
band contributed musically and creatively to nearly
every track

Once again
produced by Greg Arnold it was recorded at Yelp studios
in Warrnambool between numerous games of Bocce' and then
mixed at Atlantis Studios in Melbourne. The spread of
writing credits has continued to be a strong feature of
the album with perhaps a slightly more pop feel then the
last album.

This is a
limited edition album of live and previously unreleased
material plus one brand new track as a taster of what
might be on the next album. The music is great and the
picture of John on the cover is a corker.
